Having graduated from university with a degree in computer systems, my professional journey commenced within Social Housing, providing IT support over a decade ago. Amidst the routine advice of "turn it off and back on again," I found myself increasingly drawn to data-related requests. It was during these moments that I discovered a profound passion for writing code to extract valuable insights from databases, recognising the growing demand for accurate and reliable data.

From that pivotal point, I made it my mission to specialise in the dynamic world of data. I embarked on my journey as a BI developer with a passion for continuous learning. My career began to evolve as I progressed through a variety of roles, transitioning to a Data Warehouse developer and then a Data Warehouse manager before ultimately achieving promotion to Business Intelligence manager. 

My greatest satisfaction comes from delivering high-quality data solutions that drive insights and positively impact everyday lives, especially those in need. In my capacity as a BI manager, I oversaw the complete data infrastructure for one of the largest housing associations in the north-east. I successfully implemented a new Data Warehouse and Power BI reporting platform, creating a strong foundation of fast, accurate and reliable data.

In March 2022, I established JS Data, marking the beginning of a dedicated journey in the realm of data excellence.
